Cultural Partners
Cultural organisations are key to achieving our objectives by providing opportunities for young artists to develop in the art forms which interest them.
We support and encourage partners to engage with the Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) strategy and develop their provision. This includes:
Helping cultural organisations to learn from each other and to develop their offer in response to our analysis of need
Supporting partnerships to bid for funding for projects which fill a gap in provision
Engaging partners to support the delivery of our funded programmes
Providing collaborative performance / presentation opportunities for young artists working with cultural organisations
Schools and other services for children and young people are key to achieving our objectives through offering opportunities for young artists to learn about themselves and the world around them, and how they can make a contribution to their communities. We shall support and encourage them to engage with the CEP strategy and use the arts to contribute to the health and well-being of our communities.
Our governance structure includes a CEP Board and Champions Networks where strategic partners contribute to the development of our programme of activity. They are also early adopters of initiatives and advocates for others.
Operational leadership is shared with partners with whom we have a formal partnership agreement for delivery of our funded activity.
Our wider partnership includes partners where we promote and signpost each other’s work with children and young people.
