Endangered Species Taster Session

The Endangered Species Centre was set up in 2004 to promote the playing of minority instruments, widen access to them and give the students a chance of learning these fascinating instruments in a group setting. Students learn together, at Croydon Music and Arts, until the end of the school year when they have an opportunity of continuing in tuition as appropriate with Croydon Music and Arts teachers.

Date: Saturday 12th November 2022

Time: 9:00 - 10:00am

Ages: School Years 3-7

Location: Croydon Music and Arts, Oasis Academy Shirley Park, Shirley Rd, Croydon CR9 7AL

Come along with your child to meet the endangered instruments. There will be demonstrations on the Bassoon, Double Bass, French Horn, and Oboe, followed by a chance to see what happens in lessons.

We will advise your child on the suitability of the instruments. We have both full size and mini instruments available.
