CMA Primary Schools Conference - CPD Day 16th January

We will be hosting a CPD day on 16th January filled with useful information including how to meet OFSTED standards, creating a Music Development Plan, diversifying your curriculum, wellbeing techniques and more. With guest speaker Ollie Tunmer.

  • OFSTED Deep dives from The Harris Federation – A chance to see what questions are asked!

  • Music Development Plans – The DfE expects all schools to have a music development plan, we have some guidance created with the support of our music hub lead schools

  • Inclusive Curriculum – How you can reflect your local community in your curriculum and co-curricular activity

  • Instrumental learning in the classroom – how you can make use of a class set of ukuleles, keyboards and guitars which will be provided FREE from the DfE musical instrument grant

  • Confidence in Music – the first session in a new course for Early Careers Teachers and others who wish to build on their own performance skills to support children in music and the performing arts.

  • Body Percussion – Ollie Tunmer, as seen on CBBC!!
