Apsara Art

Recruiting volunteers for the Music Heritage Trail project and creating a mass dance for Borough of Culture. The project is looking for 15 young people. They will receive training to capture stories and life experiences of featured artists and memories of major musical events. Training will include interview techniques, podcasting and oral history creation. The material will be used for a podcast series developed with local radio stations during the creation of the trail and will be edited into a short video created for the exhibition at the Fairfield halls. The oral/video stories will be added to the Museum of Croydon’s existing collection of over 200 oral histories helping to preserve and expand this valuable and at-risk collection.
